தாமரை

Thamarai is a Tamil poet, lyricist, writer and former journalist. She is best known for writing lyrics for Tamil films only in Tamil language, often even in very purest Tamil.

Born : Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.

Thamarai graduated in mechanical engineering and worked for six years in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, where she hails from, before she, due to her passion for poetry, decided to move to Chennai, where she worked as a freelance journalist and wrote essays, stories and poems.
